Our trip to the nursing home during Thanksgiving!
Our trip to the nursing home during Thanksgiving!

Investment into the work of God's kingdom is one of the great joys of the Christian life. I was recently struck by a statement of Paul in the book of Philippians.

And you Philippians yourselves know that in the beginning of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church entered into partnership with me in giving and receiving, except you only. (Philippians 4:15)

This verse, taken at face value, means that there were many churches that chose not to partner with Paul. Not only that, but out of all the churches, only one chose to support Paul and his ministry. No wonder the Philippian congregation brought Paul so much joy! They were faithful partners with Paul through thick and thin. Paul is deeply encouraged by the Philippians partnership bt he is also overjoyed for them. Listen to what he says next...

Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit. (Philippians 4:17)

Paul knew that not only were their gifts an encouragement to his heart, not only were their gifts supplying provision for his needs, not only were their gifts making possible the continuing expansion of the gospel through Paul's ministry, but the Philippian givers were going to receive for themselves fruitfulness and "credit." To pull from another text, they were laying up for themselves treasures in heaven (Matt 6:19-20).

So many people, churches and networks have partnered with us. So many of you reading this article have invested in the gospel-proclaiming work happening here in Puerto Rico.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PARTNERSHIP WITH US!

God has us here for a time such as this and we are hopeful that he will bless the gospel of work of 2026 even as he has blessed the work done here in 2025. We have completed 1 year of labor officially gathering as Table church.

Here's what we've been able to accomplish by God's grace this past year:

  • 1 brother in Christ has undergone elder training and will be commissioned as an elder in the new year

  • 10 children growing up in Table Church families were baptized and continue to grow in favor with God and men.

  • 20 pastors and teachers were trained through WordPartners preaching workshops

  • 25 people on average gather weekly at Table Church for worship, community and mission.

  • 30 children participated weekly in a homeschool co-op this fall

  • 100 kids participated in sports clinics and camps throughout the year

  • 120+ people were hosted at our house throughout the year for prayer, food and fellowship

In everything we do as a church and as a family, we speak the truth of the gospel and aim to spread the love of Jesus.

Next year we have some goals and in order to achieve these goals

we are seeking to raise $50,000.

The money will give us the funds in our budget to do a few more things this next year:

  • Bring on an Executive Pastor (I'll be sharing more on this in the new year. The Lord has already called a family to come and join us!)

  • Minister to college students and families that are in need of food and basic items. This reality has just come to light and we are going to focus on this need in the new year.

  • Rent a space for gathering as Table Church.

  • Continue our sports clinics and camps in the area.

So many of you are already giving to us and that is why we only need $50,000 to cover the rest of our 2026 ministry expenses. If you are looking for a place to invest into the kingdom of God then we hope you'll pray and consider giving to Table Church. In doing so, we will rejoice in the blessing of your gift to us and the fruit that will increase to your credit in God's economy.

If you have any questions for me about Table Church or the ministry needs just mentioned please feel free to reach out to me at 912-346-8528. I'd love to receive a text or call from you.
